Rich is a Principal and co-founder of Silver Fin Capital, founded in 2005. He brings extensive expertise in commercial financing, including multi-family, acquisition, SBA, Retail and construction loans. In addition to his commercial experience, Rich is well-versed in residential loans, including conventional, FHA, jumbo/super jumbo, Non-QM and condo/co-op financing. His deep knowledge of mortgage compliance, regulation, and software integration further strengthens his comprehensive industry background.
At Silver Fin Capital, Rich oversees the loan origination and processing teams, along with the company’s compliance department. He also hosts the "Silver Fin Capital’s Finsights podcast”, where he shares valuable industry insights and trends. Before co-founding Silver Fin Capital, Rich served as Vice President of Sales and Operations for a large mortgage brokerage, where he managed all aspects of commercial and residential finance transactions. Rich led and trained large teams of loan officers and processors, bringing with him strong sales, operational and business development experience.
Rich has authored articles for numerous industry publications and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and The Real Deal. He has twice been named to the MPA Hot 100 Movers and Shakers in the Mortgage Industry. Outside of his professional life, Rich volunteers for several charities and enjoys playing golf, and spending time with his family.
He is also a proud member of the Nassau County Police Department Foundation Board of Advisors, supporting the department’s efforts to improve community safety. Rich holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Albany.
